“No Worries.”
Personal quoteSamuel Success Sunday was born in Ede, Osun State, and grew up in Osogbo, Osun State, in a family whose love, discipline and support became the first foundation of his life. His state of origin is Kogi State, the home state of both his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sunday. They stood behind his education and encouraged him to keep learning. From an early age, Samuel was curious about computers. Java games and the world of software sparked questions in him: how were these things made, and how could he make something of his own?
At Rock Eternal Model Schools and Rock Eternal Model College in Osogbo, he became known as an active and resourceful learner. He engaged in sports, debates and spelling bees, while also building a reputation for responsibility. He served as Time Keeper in SS1, Time Keeper and Punctuality Prefect in SS2, and Head Boy in SS3. The experience taught him that leadership is not only a title; it is service, consistency and showing up for other people.
Samuel’s education was shaped by teachers and mentors who saw potential in him. Mr. Olaniyan Oluwabusayo, his choirmaster at RCCG Upper Room in Osogbo, became his first mentor and helped him grow as a drummer and keyboardist. Mr. Adeyemi Ezekiel strengthened his English and academic confidence. Mr. Musa challenged his writing and storytelling, while Mr. Israel, Mrs. Bukola Busola and Mrs. Victoria contributed to his mathematical, Christian, civic and personal development.
After completing secondary school in 2023 with good WAEC and NECO results, Samuel spent two years working at the same school that had helped shape him. From 2023 to 2025, he worked as a typist and taught Physical and Health Education and History. The school computer became more than a work tool: it became a classroom of its own, giving him time to practise coding, graphics design and website building.
His creative growth also led to work with Mrs. Oluwadamilola Nathaniel, founder and convener of Teens and Children Alive Conference programmes. There, he designed textbook content for primary and secondary school learners while continuing to develop his digital skills. In 2025, after writing JAMB in 2024, he gained admission to Prince Abubakar Audu University in Anyigba to study Mass Communication.
Today, Samuel is building a life that connects technology, education, media, music and community. He is the founder of SamGenie EduShelf, a website and app builder, and assistant manager of KK Quintessence Café, which he runs with Bishop David Sanda of The Love Oasis Church of Excellence in Anyigba. His ambition is large: to create platforms that help people learn, grow and see new possibilities for themselves.

School struggles, criticism and difficult friendships have taught him to move forward rather than allow setbacks to define him.
Technology becomes meaningful to him when it helps students, families and communities solve real problems.
His family, church community and mentors remain important parts of the person and builder he is becoming.
